SABRINA ATWAL
With over a decade of experience in leading public relations campaigns in corporate communications, government, and healthcare, I now run an independent consultancy specializing in thoughtful public relations focused on getting results for every client served. I draw from a distinct combination of corporate, healthcare, community, and technology sector experience to promote and advance your organization's goals.
Prior to consulting, I was Press Secretary to Canadian federal ministers where I managed press conferences, daily scrums, and coordinated media interviews with producers and journalists from across Canada. I also served as Senior Advisor for Issues Management and Media Relations for Alberta Health Services, where I was a spokesperson for Alberta’s largest healthcare zone and helped lead media relations during the height of the global COVID-19 pandemic.
I have experience working in Ontario, Alberta, and Quebec media markets giving me a unique look at the diverse range of outlets that I can leverage for my clients.
Currently, my passion is helping healthcare organizations build memorable brands and have a greater impact. Through communications advising and strategic marketing support, I support scalability and profitability. When you work with me, I act as an extension of your team and help take the guesswork out of your marketing and PR strategy.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Alberta. I am certified in Growth Marketing and I am a member of Digital Health Canada.
